Produktinformationen "Daniel Takes a Train - Style, Charme and Commotion (Firestation Records / FST 157)"
LP, Compilation, Limited Edition.
The most famous band you've never heard of.. It's a mystery why London band Daniel Takes a Train weren't one of the biggest acts of the 1980s. After all, their members had recorded with Tom Robinson and The Monochrome Set, had tea and cakes with Slade and T. Rex, partied with Paula Yates and The Pet Shop Boys and even stole a set list from The Smiths! Later, they were to play football with Spandau Ballet and Kasabian and signed band t-shirts for Prince Harry before the consolation of a one-album deal from a German indie label in 2018.
Fans of ABC, Orange Juice (Rip it Up period) or The Style Council will definitely dig Daniel. Soulful pop from 80s London.
